If you love account people at your beck and call, more than five at the conference room table, immediate phone contact with an assistant to the assistant of the account team, extensive proposals and Gantt charts for timelines, then we may not be the right fit for you.
While I enjoyed some facets of working at a traditional agency, I found their process very ineffecient. And it was the client that suffered the most. My experiment with Gridshift is to try and provide the best strategy and design without the traditional machine. Let's be direct. Get to the point. And get the job done.
A team of trusted partners
So my process is simple. I can assess the project and pull in the right people for the job, which includes developers, additional designers, writers and the occasional account manager as the job requires. But most of the time it is you, working directly with me and a small group of highly experienced individuals who specialize and are the best at what they do.
A brief history
I was traditionally trained with a BFA from Brigham Young University in Graphic Design. There I learned the fundamentals of the grid and typography. Over the next several years I worked on both the corporate and agency side of design projects.
What we like to do
I like to think that no matter the change in medium, the design principles applied to a particular work should be the same. While I have extensive experience with print, marketing and events, my focus lately is on the ever-changing challenges and opportunities of online and mobile media.
